With his latest victory, Anthony Joshua retains his WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight titles. Tyson Fury (aka Gypsy King) still retains the WBC belt after defeating Deontay Wilder, former WBC heavyweight champion. A boxer who retains the 4 belts (WBA, WBO, IBF, and WBC) at the same time would be proclaimed an undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

Considering the fact that Joshua is retaining 3 of the belts and Fury retains one, fans want both fighters to clash for a unification of the belts to occur.

It is a two-fight agreement which states that the first match will be an equal split in cash. The rematch will then be a 60-40 split favoring the winner.

The venue of the matches hasn't been disclosed yet but there are speculations that it might take place in the Middle East. But before the fight can take place, Fury still has to resolve his dispute with Wilder. Deontay Wilder insists that Fury still owes him another fight.
