What is the tenure of the presidency in Nigeria? For how long does a president rule in Nigeria before another election?

Under the Nigerian constitution, an elected president will rule for 4 years. The president may rule for another term of 4 years if he/she contests and is re-elected in an election. However, the president may not rule for more than 8 consecutive years.
