Scammers hack late sound sultan's social media accounts

Some Nigerians have been receiving messages from the social media accounts of the late Nigerian singer Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi popularly known as Sound Sultan, claiming to be his family members and soliciting funds. Sound Sultan's wife Farida Fasasi took to Instagram to announce that his social media accounts have been hacked by Internet scammers and advised the public to disregard any information coming from any of his accounts. This incident seems to be quite outrageous but mostly sad, it has not been up to 2 months since the Nigerian singer passed on and these internet fraudsters, scammers and thieves could not wait to use his demise to their advantage. Who can we really blame for their actions? Should we blame it on the government? for the bad economy and hardship in the country, or should we blame it on the parents of these fraudsters, for not bringing their children up with good manners and behaviour? Maybe no one should be blamed for their actions, these scammers are simply selfish, greedy, lazy, insensitive and very much disrespectful, no form of courtesy, even for the dead.
