But contrary to what people might think, Nigeria is also a giant where architecture is concerned. There are lots of stunning buildings worthy of envy in the country.

Just like popular buildings around the world such as the Taj Mahal in Agra, the Opera house in Sydney, and the Empire State Building in New York. Nigeria too has a few edifices she can boast of.

This incredible work of architecture is located in Surulere, Lagos. This building was built in 1976, and is popularly known for its amazing art performances. It is built with a hat-like design, and has a 5000 seater capacity and a collapsible stage. The theater is currently a theater, museum, and art village.

The Central Bank of Nigeria in Lagos is another stunning edifice. This building was completed by Messer Julius Berger in 2013. The building is situated on the Island. The structure has 19 floors and 6 of the floors are used as car parks, the rest are office space. The edifice boasts a five generator service block, a 500 seater auditorium, an atrium having four office wings, and other auxiliary buildings around it.
